Life is a volume of books that captures your story one day at a time. The problem with the book of life is the fact that as a character in the story, it's hard to see all aspects of the story and impossible to predict the end of the story. You go with the flow of life with no chance to take a moment and look at the way things are playing out. In order to understand what is going on in your story and possibly guide the story's destination, it is necessary to pause at the end of every chapter and review what has been written. Although it is impossible to go back and edit the mistakes, knowing the mistakes makes it that much easier to recognize forthcoming mistakes before it is too late. if you complete your story without taking time to read the beginning, chances are, many of the mistakes you made in the beginning will be repeated again and then again in the end.

For the longest time I questioned your judgement. I wondered why you would make the choices you make and why you would put up with and take the things that you take. I kept thinking to myself, you can do better. You deserve better. But maybe I just wish you did.
I wish you had the right to say, "I refuse to deal with a 'man' who smokes and drinks. I refuse to deal with a 'man' who cheats. All the loud talking, cursing and rudeness, it's just not for me. Video games, not so much. And if it's not right in my spirit, then there is no us. "

Hey dad, Its me. I'm not sure if you're aware or if you even care, but I'm coming over, to where you live, to see my friend. I think you know him, he's your girlfriend's kid. My mom will drop me off. He will open the door. You can step out of your room to see who it is, but then just go back in, shut the door, because I expect nothing more. But I will come up and knock, at least to say hi. Then I will go in the basement to play with my friends and the other neighbourhood guys. You don't have to pretend that you miss me or that you love me even. I don't even know for sure that you're mine. Better yet, you should just leave. That's perfectly fine. Really, I don't mind.
